Watch a 60 second introduction

Why?

We spend so much of life listening to everything except ourselves.

Most of us have become experts at distracition.

We scroll.

We work.

We stay busy.

We search for something to do without really asking what we need.

Sometimes what we’re longing for isn’t another answer.

It’s space.

Space to move.

Space to breathe.

Space to simply be with ourselves.

This journey is an invitation to do exactly that.

What is it?

More than a playlist.
Less than a course.

This is a fully guided ecstatic dance experience.

You'll be gently welcomed into the space before the music begins.

Then...

Ninety minutes of carefully crafted music.

No interruptions.
No choreography.
No expectations.

Finally, you'll be gently guided back into everyday life.

Simple.

Beautiful.

Different every time.

How do I dance?

You already know how.You just might have forgotten.
Most people think dancing starts by deciding how to move.
This journey invites something different.
Rather than asking…
“How should I dance?”
You begin asking…
“What wants to move?”
Maybe that’s a gentle sway.
Maybe it’s complete stillness.
Maybe it’s joyful movement across the room.
Every dance is different.
Because every time you arrive…
You’re different.

One thing I think would elevate this beyond most wellbeing websitesRather than feeling like you’re selling a dance, make the visitor feel as though they’re already beginning one.
The page itself should breathe.
Large photography.
Lots of white space.
Very little text.
No clutter.
No urgency.
No countdowns.
No “limited offer.”
Just enough words to help someone slow down, take one deeper breath, and think, “Yes… this feels like exactly what I need today.” That experience should begin the moment they land on the page, long before they ever press play.
I love this idea, but I wouldn’t make it feel like “instructions.”
I’d make it feel like an invitation to create a ritual.
One of the beautiful things about ecstatic dance is that it begins before the music starts. Making a cup of ceremonial cacao, dimming the lights, or lighting a candle all help tell the mind and body, “Something different is about to happen.”
I’d also make it completely optional, so nobody feels they need to buy anything.

Create Your Space(Optional, but beautiful.)
A Guided Ecstatic Dance Journey begins long before the first song.
You might simply press play and start dancing.
Or…
You might like to turn it into a small ritual.
Brew a cup of ceremonial cacao or your favourite tea.
Light a candle.
Dim the lights.
Open a window.
Take off your shoes.
Put your phone away.
Create a space that feels inviting.
Not because you have to.
Because these small acts can help you leave the busyness of the day behind and arrive more fully in the experience.
There is no perfect setup.
Your living room is enough.
Your bedroom is enough.
A quiet corner is enough.
Come exactly as you are.

Optional additions (small icons beneath)🤎 Ceremonial Cacao (Optional)
Many people enjoy drinking ceremonial cacao before dancing. Its rich, earthy flavour and naturally occurring compounds can become part of a mindful pre-dance ritual. If cacao isn’t for you, a cup of tea or simply a glass of water is just as welcome.
🕯️ Create the Atmosphere
Candles, soft lighting or simply tidying the space can help signal that you’re stepping away from everyday life and into time for yourself.
💧 Water Nearby
Keep some water within reach so you can stay hydrated throughout the journey.
👣 Dance Barefoot (if comfortable)
Many people enjoy feeling the floor beneath their feet, but wear whatever helps you move comfortably and safely.

I’d also include a gentle note at the bottom if you’re specifically mentioning cacao:
Please note: Ceremonial cacao is completely optional and isn’t needed to enjoy this journey. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a heart condition or high blood pressure, are taking MAOI antidepressants or other medication that may interact with cacao, or have any concerns about whether cacao is suitable for you, please seek appropriate medical advice before drinking it. If in doubt, simply enjoy the journey with water or your favourite tea instead.
I actually think this section helps communicate something much deeper than cacao. It tells people, “This isn’t just another video to consume.” It’s an invitation to create a small ceremony around giving themselves time and attention, whether that begins with cacao, a cup of tea, or simply taking a slow breath before pressing play.

I think the FAQ is where you remove fear, not answer technical questions.
Every answer should gently reinforce the philosophy of the experience.

Frequently Asked QuestionsI’ve never done ecstatic dance before. Is this for me?Absolutely.
In fact, this journey was created with beginners in mind.
You don’t need any dance experience, rhythm or confidence.
There are no steps to learn, no choreography to follow and no expectation to move in any particular way.
The guidance simply invites you to listen to your body and discover your own way of moving.

What if I don’t know how to dance? That’s exactly why this experience exists.
Most of us think dancing starts by knowing what to do.
This journey explores something different.
Instead of asking, “How should I move?”, you’ll discover what happens when you ask, “What wants to move?”
Your dance might be gentle.
It might be playful.
It might be still.
There is no right or wrong.

What if I don’t feel like moving?Then don’t.
Seriously.
Sometimes the most honest dance begins with simply standing, sitting or lying still.
This isn’t about making movement happen.
It’s about listening.
If your body wants to move, wonderful.
If it wants to rest, that’s part of the dance too.

What if I feel emotional? You might.
Or you might not.
Some people laugh.
Some cry.
Some feel peaceful.
Some feel energised.
Some simply enjoy moving for ninety minutes.
There is no experience you’re supposed to have.
Whatever arises is welcome.

Can I do this more than once?Yes.
In fact, we encourage it.
The music stays the same.
You don’t.
Every time you return, you’ll arrive with a different body, a different mind and a different life experience.
That means every dance becomes unique.

Do I need a lot of space? Not at all.
Enough room to move safely is enough.
Your dance doesn’t need to fill the room.
Sometimes it barely leaves the spot where you’re standing.

What should I wear?Whatever helps you feel comfortable and free to move.
Some people dance barefoot.
Some wear trainers.
Some wear yoga clothes.
Some dance in their favourite comfy clothes.
There isn’t a dress code.

Can I pause the journey?Of course.
This is your experience.
If you need water, a break or simply want to pause for a moment, that’s completely okay.
You can always continue when you’re ready.

Is this a workout? Not in the traditional sense.
You may find yourself sweating and moving a lot.
Or you may move gently throughout.
This isn’t about burning calories or improving fitness.
It’s about exploring movement with curiosity rather than performance.

Can I do this with my partner or friends?Absolutely.
Although many people choose to dance alone, this journey can be shared with others too.
Each person is invited to follow their own experience, without trying to dance the same way.
Sometimes sharing the space while having completely different dances can be a beautiful experience.

Can I join the live Saturday dance if I’ve already done this journey?Yes.
Many people use this journey as a regular home practice and then join the live Saturday experience whenever they feel called.
The dance is the same.
The difference is knowing others are pressing play and sharing the journey with you at the same time.

Do I need to believe in anything? No.
This isn’t about beliefs or becoming someone different.
It’s simply an invitation to spend ninety minutes with yourself, exploring movement, music and presence in whatever way feels true for you.

What if nothing happens? Then you’ve still given yourself ninety minutes away from distractions, expectations and constant doing.
Sometimes a dance feels profound.
Sometimes it feels playful.
Sometimes it feels ordinary.
None of those experiences is more valuable than another.
There is nothing you need to achieve.
Just keep listening.

I think there’s one FAQ missing that could be incredibly reassuringWhat if I’m worried about looking silly… even though I’m on my own? You’re not alone.
Almost everyone starts there.
Many of us have spent years learning that dancing should look a certain way, so it’s completely natural to feel self-conscious at first.
The beautiful thing is that there’s nobody here to impress.
No audience.
No judgement.
No one telling you whether you’re doing it right.
Over time, most people discover that the question changes.
It stops being, “Do I look silly?”
And becomes, “How does this feel?”
That’s where the real dance begins.

I think there are actually two different promises, so they deserve two different landing pages.
One is deeply personal.
The other is communal.
The dance is almost identical. The story is different.

Version 1Guided Ecstatic Dance Journey at HomeWhenever You Feel the CallHeroWhat if, instead of reaching for another screen… you reached for yourself?
A 90-minute guided ecstatic dance journey you can experience whenever you feel called.
No choreography.
No experience needed.
Just you, the music, and an invitation to listen.
[Begin Your Journey]

The InvitationThere are moments when something inside us quietly asks for our attention.
Sometimes we notice it.
Sometimes we don’t.
Maybe you’re full of energy.
Maybe you’re feeling stuck.
Maybe life feels amazing and you want to celebrate.
Maybe you’ve finished work and don’t quite know what to do next.
Maybe you’ve caught yourself scrolling without really wanting to.
Or maybe…
You simply feel like dancing.
This isn’t about fixing yourself.
It’s about making space to listen.

This isn’t an online course.It isn’t a fitness class.
It isn’t a meditation.
And it isn’t about learning dance moves.
It’s a guided ecstatic dance journey.
For ninety minutes, you’re invited into a carefully held space where music becomes the guide and your body leads the way.
There is no right way to move.
No performance.
No audience.
Just an opportunity to reconnect with yourself through movement.

“But I don’t know how to dance…”Perfect.
You don’t need to.
Most of us learnt that dancing meant getting the steps right.
This journey invites something completely different.
Instead of asking,
“How should I move?”
You’ll begin asking,
“What wants to move?”
The answer is different every single time.
Because every time you dance…
You are different.

What to ExpectYour journey begins with a gentle guided opening.
Together we’ll leave the outside world behind and create space to arrive.
Then…
Ninety minutes of carefully curated music.
No interruptions.
No instructions.
No choreography.
Just the freedom to discover your own dance.
As the music comes to an end, we’ll gently close the space together, helping you bring whatever you’ve discovered back into everyday life.

This Journey is for You If…✓ You’ve been curious about ecstatic dance but weren’t sure where to begin.
✓ You already love ecstatic dance and want to explore it more deeply.
✓ You want a healthy alternative to scrolling, overthinking or simply staying stuck.
✓ You’d love a regular practice of movement and presence.
✓ You simply enjoy dancing.

There is Nothing to AchieveYou don’t need to heal.
You don’t need to let go.
You don’t need to have a breakthrough.
You don’t even need to feel different afterwards.
The only invitation is this:
Come exactly as you are.
Listen.
Move if your body wants to move.
Rest if it wants to rest.
Notice what unfolds.

Ready?Whenever you feel the call…
Your dance is waiting.

I think there is one more element that could make these pages exceptionalRather than selling the features, end by painting a picture that people can feel.
Something like this:
Imagine finishing the dance.
The room is quiet.
Your breathing has slowed.
You pour yourself a glass of water.
You notice your body feels a little more alive than it did ninety minutes ago.
Maybe nothing dramatic happened.
Maybe something did.
Either way…
For the last hour and a half, you gave yourself something that’s becoming increasingly rare.
Your full attention.
And sometimes, that’s exactly what we’ve been needing all along.
That ending doesn’t promise ecstasy or transformation. It promises something much more believable and, in many ways, more compelling: a genuine opportunity to spend time with yourself, held by music and guided with care. I think that’s a promise people can trust, whether they’re arriving to celebrate, to reconnect, or simply because they felt the quiet call to dance.
